Young Life has been an ideal Windrider partner as they seek to equip students, leaders and alumni with resources to integrate faith into every aspect of their lives.

The three main ways Young Life is involved with Windrider:

  • Young Life Area Directors attend the Windrider Summit & The Sundance Film Festival Experience as a part of their Continuing Education.

  • Young Life utilizes films from Windrider Studios for their “In The Know” newsletter that goes out to the broad YL alumni and friends network (150,000+).

  • Young Life leaders and volunteers screen use the Curated by Young Life collection on Windrider Studios films and conversations to engage other staff, college students, and high schoolers.

Curated by Young Life

  • Forged

Forged, from our Faith + Work Series, was utilized at a Young Life Men’s retreat for over 200 men to discuss education and vocation.

  • A Concerto is a Conversation

Shared via the In the Know Newsletter, screened among a group of college students, and discussed amongst Young Life volunteers, A Concerto is a Conversation has unlocked thoughtful dialogue about legacy, race, confidence and identity.

  • Kintsugi

Kintsugi was shared via YL’s In the Know newsletter to encourage conversation around finding beauty in brokenness. The film has also been used among YL’s college leadership to discuss redemption and discipleship on their campus.

  • The Best Chef in the World

In this film, the subject says, “I didn't set out to change the world, I just wanted to make good food.” This line sparked a thoughtful conversation with a Young Life staff in TN who now ask themselves, “What is our good food?”

  • DeKalb Elementary

DeKalb Elementary has opened up conversation among educators and volunteers about trauma and how to see and love people where they are.

  • The Originals

The Originals was shared with Young Life Alumni & Friends and Adult Leaders to spark discussion around community and what it is like to be a kid.

  • Beneath the Ink

Area Directors used this film with high schoolers and volunteers to discuss God’s ability to bring about new creation (2 Corinthians 5). It was also sent out via In The Know.

  • Grab My Hand: A Letter to My Dad

Area Directors have used this film with Campaigners (Middle & High Schoolers) and College Volunteers to discuss loving people, living in missional community and being a good friend.
